afterdawn dvd covers?

    this is just a thought. how about a thread/forum for people to post/upload dvd covers. there is allways someone asking about finding a cover and a site for them. how about keeping it here at home and have a thread for uploading covers... just a thought. what do you think?

    in my opinion, that's an unnecessary drain on the servers. but then again, we can have a crapload of huge pictures on our profile.

    As silly as it might sound to some people, DVD covers are copyrighted by the movie studios and distributing them is equivalent, in the eyes of the law, to distributing the movie itself. Same goes for "self-made" covers -- logos, screenshots, etc are all protected by the copyright legislation. Granted, studios haven't gone after the likes of cdcovers.cc and others, but that is simply their decision -- if they'd want, they could sue all cover sites and win, as it is extremely clear case in court (equivalent to having full movie on your own web server, not more complicated matters like torrent links, where legislation is not defined yet).

    not silly at all. didnt really think of it that way.we dont need any legal problems here. nice polite way of saying no its not gonna happen..LOL
