Hey. I am a big fan of the AD newsletter, and am not raising a point about it directly. I use yahoo mail and whenever I open the Newsletter the blue colours of the Ad letter flood the page and goes over everything whilst I have it open. Just wandered Why this is? Thx.
Can anyone answer my question lol or is this a yahoo related thing? Myabe I should take it up with them lol?!?!
Hm, sounds like the styles used in the newsletter somehow conflict with the Yahoo's HTML template -- web-based email accounts are problematic in that sense and as we don't have any Yahoo! email accounts, we haven't tried it yet, but I'll pass your comment on to our gfx guy to take a look at the issue. As a sidenote, Google's Gmail does extremely annoying HTML parsing when showing the newsletter and the newsletter shows up (well, at least used to show up last time we tested it about 10 months ago) on GMail. With normal email clients, like Outlook, OE, Thunderbird, etc the newsletter works fine, as far as we know.
Hey. Thx for the reply. And for clearing up my confused little brain lol jkes but ty anywho! I also use G-Mail as my secondary account (however I don't have an AD account with it) so I'd be screwed on both counts lol. Ah well It's not a major problem I was just intrigued... Ty. *edit spelling* lol
i just checked my yahoo account that has the afterdawn news letter,no problem with the color..in fact the news letter is very clear.. and i can read it all..with no problem... its open with ie right now in a second window..
Oh ok. Maybe it's just my Yahoo then. That's what i get btw http://i94.photobucket.com/albums/l81/Ripper_92/colour.jpg lol
