Afterdawn signatures

How do you guys get all that cool stuff into your signature (ie pictures, cartoons, animation, etc. I tried editing personal info with word (please stop laughing at me) and that didn't work. I am new to this site and eager to learn, contribute what I can, and not afraid to ask stupid questions. (obviously) Thanks

 

You go to My Account, Edit Personal Information, and then insert the address of the picture or animation into your Signature. Put this in around the address but replace the () with []
(img)http://www.pictureyouwant.jpg(/img)

Ken did mention the ways. But there are somethings that are left out:

1.Find the image that you want to use, right click, save the pic to your desktop.
2.Go to this site:

http://www.imageweb.info/index.php

This is a free image uploader, as aD (AfterDawn) doesn't support anything else. BTW...make sure that you pic is standard .jpg format. As others who are on dial up will have some problems seeing all the pics.

3.After your image is uploaded, choose the 2nd http link and highlight it and copy it.
4.Next, go to your account, and under Personal Info, find the text box.
5.Follow the rest of Ken's instructions

Thanks so much Ken, Venom, and Kyle, for the instructions, but for some reason my picture won't come up on the testing thread - only the box with the X like there is a picture there but it's not coming up. Maybe it has to do with my computer's security or something, I don't know. If you read this, can you please post a reply and let me know if there is a picture there? Thanks so much for your help and your generosity in sharing your knowledge!

 

Try hosting your pic on this site venomX05 reccomended it and it works a treat:
