Hello everyone who is reading this.
I bought a nintendo game cube for my brother's birthday and supposedly it was new, but when I hooked it up to my TV and after 20-30 seconds of normal operation the screen starts flashing, like someone is pressing the reset button or something. The thing is that the power light is constantly on.What might the problem be.My bro was so sad that it didn't work that he started crying.Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
    Regards,
    Ivan

You might have incompatible TV.. I have'nt experienced that myself, cause i have multi-format TV:s=) but that might be problem.
Or your GC:s videocable is badly connected...or your GC is just broken...

If it is a brand new cube and you haven't done anything like modding, then return it to the saler you bought it and get a new one.

Try it in another tv to see if it's the rca jacks in your tv.if it doe's the same it has to be the cableto the gamecube.but I would take it back if you can.if you can't buy another one at wal-mart take it abart with a ink pen (you have to burn the end of the pen and put it in where the screws are and let it cool down to make it fit then just turn.take them all out and change the cases around)you have to cange them so the serial number is the same one you got from wal-mart.now wal-mart can't say you did'nt get it from them as long as you switch out the outter case.just make sure the one you get from wal-mart works before you do this.I'v did this when I mod a system and it won't work.just let them know it don't work so know one else buys it and has the same thing happen to them.

it sounds like you have a major electricle short in the gamecube i wouldn't return it to the store because the store will then mark it clearance and sell it to some un suspected person

send it to nintendo have them take a look at it it sounds like your reset button is jammed or the console you purchased was defective or not design for your country

    where are you located at???

next is the fan running if the fan it running and your screen is flickering it is usally a power supply problem

make sure you have the right power supply for your region

try these things if they do not work then return your console to the store telling the store do not put back on the store shelf as clearence stores like target and fred meyers and k-mart all do this
