    Hi diser
Looks like your biggest problem here is the 16x media you are using:
    Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AM3
Not the best and this drive hasn't had much support- firmware wise on it.

Better to use would be Verbatim or made in Japan only Sony, Fuji or Maxell.

    Burn process failed at 16x
Take the burn speed down to 8x or less on these.

    Nero Version: 6.6.0.6
Update Nero to 6.6.0. 18 too. Here's some links:
    Package 1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2 (recode & vision)
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/software/Nero6/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

Give that a go & let us know!

Thanks for the reply.. I should have mentioned that before i formatted I tried setting it as low as 4x.. that didnt help any. I did update the firmware for the sony drive.. and i was originally getting this error on sony dvds.. I was originally using nero 7 but when i formatted the computer i put 6 back on here instead.. I will try downloading the update and see if that helps. Thanks

Not a lot of support on this Sony burner - last update was over a year ago so 16x media even though it's a 16x burner may give it problems.

The burner is an oem LiteOn - 1673S so if your interested you may want to look into crossflashing it to LiteOn firmware. Little riskier and will void any warranty if still under one.

Whyat was the rated speed of the media you were able to burn successfully?

I am still trying to use the same 2 types of dvds that i always have.. Memorex and Sony. Both worked before. Then all of a sudden i couldnt burn anymore. Same thing happens if i use any other software.. except alcohol.. If i use nero to make an image then burn it with alcohol it will burn.. takes forever but it does burn. I just installed that update so im gonna try to burn something. Btw.. i did switch to the liteon firmware at one point and that didnt fix the problem. so i changed it back. Thanks Sorry.. all media is 16x media.

Ok - memerox uses a few manufacturers for the media. 16x can be made by CMC, Ritek and maybe another. Sony is usually made by Sony or Taiyo Yuden.
Another good burning program (free) you may want to try is ImgBurn - burns iso's and you can use the build mode for video_ts, data etc.
