AHHH!! problem!

ok, im unlocking my old phone, a nokia 3330, cuae my other one has broken, so im just using this while i get it fixed, but unlocking the handset is becoming a problem!
I had a code and put that in just fine,and then it came up with "sim not restricted".. and when i put in my sim card in it then said "sim card not accepted"!! I have no clue what ive done here.. can anyone help please!?

What sim are you trying to use?

 

im trying to use a virgin (UK) sim card.

 

And what sim did work in the phone?

 

i *THINK* it was on orange.

 

If Orange is what did work, they both seem to work on GSM 1800 so there should be no reason why the Virgin sim isn't working. Take it and clean the gold part real good with something like a cotton shirt and clean the little gold prongs where the sim will be meeting and see if this helps.
