    Can someone please help me
i am trying to create my own dvds, preferably with menus, i would like to know which software would be the best for what i need
I have Friday the 13th films on my computer 1 - 11 and i was using TMPGEnc Dvd Author 1.6 and i have wasted loads of discs trying to get it right, the authoring bit is fine but when i play it back in my standalone dvd player the audio is way way out of sync at least 5 seconds behind which renders the movie completly unwatchable but TMPGEnc did let me put 7 films on one disc, now i know im going to lose a lot of quality, but i want them for back up purposes only.
When i load up TMPGEnc in the options it says
"Cannot Find the Dolby Digital (AC3) Encoder"
Could this be my source of audio problems?
I then used Aurora Dvd Creator and that didnt have as many options as i would like for tinkering around with the menus, and my burned dvd from that would not play in my cheapo standalone dvd player (which is VERY strange coz that machine is a slut and takes everything you give it, lol) but would play in my expensive Sony standalone ( which is as tight as a ducks ass and will rarely play anything apart from original dvds) also Aurora Dvd Creator will not put as much on a disc as TMPGEnc.
I then tried Nero Vison Express and couldnt get anywhere with that!
Now i feel like tearing my hair out!!!
If anyone can help me in anyway i would be extremely grateful

If your movies are in AVI format, then you should first use VSO DvixToDVD, to make your AVI movies to VOB files (DVD) after this use DVDLab Pro to start making your own DVD with menus.

Otherwise if your movies are already in MPG or VOB format, then you don't need to use VSO DivxToDVD, just go directly to DVDLab Pro and start making your own DVD with menus.
