I need to put AID 3.0 on a CD , but a CD isnt big enough to hold it. SO I need to put in on a DVD-R. But , my computer only has a CD-RW drive in it. So , I called my uncle and he said that there is a program that you can download that lets you burn files to a DVD even if your computer only has a CD-RW drive. I was wondering if anyone knew what program this was? Thanks , thirst
If you find that out I would surely like to know... Don't you think if that were so, no one would waste their money buying a DVD writer, when you could possibly use a CD writer with some software instead? By the way within those files is the actual (AID ISO), it does in fact fit onto a CD, amongst the rest of the files are just different Bioses and Apps.
okay , this is true. Because my other uncle put the program on my uncle that I asked's computer. I just cant get in touch with my other uncle , but , I will surely tell you! But , ummm , can you tell me which file is the ISO to put on the CD? THANKS ! - thirst
if you go to where your AID files are and change the view to details. then you should see a file with an extension 'image file' & will be about 500 meg. thats the one you're after
Alright , thanks , but , when I burned it to a CD-R , my xbox didnt read it , so do I need to put it on a DVD-R?
I burned it to a CD-RW. I knew that much , but , I've heard that many xboxes dont read CD-RW , they only read DVD-RW.
Okay , great , now , my xbox wont play ANYTHING. It wont play an original game , a backed up game , a CD-R or A DVD-R ... any suggestions?
@DrXthirst, the program that you were talking about is Alcohol 52% & 120% they will emulate a DVD drive. So you are correct... but still it won't let you burn a DVD on a CD drive.
