hi, i had my slim ps2 (v14) modded a couple months ago and my warranty just expired so i opened my console to see what chip they used (because the salesman couldn't tell me and the installer wasn't in at the time). The mod chip says aladdin 75k and i can't find any information on this chip. Can someone help me out?

i figured as much, i saw one page from hong kong with the chip listed on it (for $8 US) but i couldn't read the description of the mod chips functions or anything, and coincidentally the guys that i bought it from and installed it are from hong kong... but i'll give it credit, it works pretty good.

I know there are aladdin brand chips, but i think that they end at 70k for upto v10 or 11 ps2's, do you think that this could be like the next release from them? i'm going to email that company to see.
