I am trying to install an Aladdin Advance Mod Chip and always appear to be booting in the original mode. I am not sure if I am hooking up to the correct place for connection "DO". On their website, www.aladdinchip.com, for version 1.5 there is an arrow pointing to one of 13 horizontal runs (silver on the web page)11 are the same length and the top two are much shorter. I am not sure if the arrow is pointing to the bottom short run (the second one down) or the first longer run (third one down). Has anyone ever installed one of these chips and could you clarify which is the correct connection point? Thank you for your assistance.
Go there http://images.xodus-chip.com/adaptor_manual.zip and look for the diagram showing the D0 point for v1.2+ And if you absolutly want to use the aladdin diagram then note that the arrow is pointing toward the hole!
