Ok, so, after a year or two I found out how to boot OzXFlash on my xbox. So I flashed the Aladdin Advance Plus chip with FlashBIOS. BIIIG MISTAKE. I cannot boot to OzXFlash dvd anymore, nor can I any dvd [with modchip on] and I cannot flash the chip from within FlashBIOS. Well, why can't I flash the chip from FlashBIOS? Well, it would be flashing over the BIOS that is in use. Is there any way to get around this by booting from a dvd and disabling FlashBIOS or something? Or do I have to buy an new modchip/flashchip? >.<
You probubly corrupted the bios on the chip......You should get an xenium chip there are alot more easier to handle......and i would stick with FlashBios.........The xenuim is very strong and will last a long time
No, FlashBIOS is the BIOS, and it comes up fine, just I can't seem to flash another BIOS over it, due to the fact that its on the 1st and only 256kb on the chip, and its running. I've tried flashing over it using HTTP, and DVD. >.< i have a headache.
Is it possible to take the flash chip out and physically erase it, like shock it or something??? Come on, guys, I'm getting desperate here, and I dont want to wait a week for another chip. Any suggestions at all?
