I have been working on this v1.1 xbox and an aladdin xt chip for nearly a week and i'm nearly at the end of my rope. I have found some really good forums and i think i may now have it sorted but am unsure so here's what i've done and what it's doing. I've linked the BT to the always on part on the chip. I've linked the DO to a spot on the xbox board. I'm 95% sure i'm in the right place. According to the documentation i've read this chip doesn't need the L1,L2 or HD wires connected to anything. I haven't found a pic of what way the chip goes on the board (only possible 2 ways anyway) so not sure which way it needs to be. When i boot the xbox it takes about 2 minutes before i get an error screen. I figure i'll worry about the error screen when i know the chip is working. It's also booting a green xbox logo with no microsoft underneath. I've tried booting with a AID disc i have and without and makes no difference still hangs for ages before going to error screen. Hope i've provided enough info and thanks in advance for any help. Huntsman
All the points should be the same for each chip. You can clearly see the D0 and the BT. These two points don't change. This is for a version 1.1 board.
