hi i just ordered an xt and i wanted to know if you can play an original xbox game with the chip turned on, i will never use xbox live so if its easyer to install it to be on all the time thats what ill do, Anwser anyone?
Yes you can play an original xbox game with the chip on . Any chip for that fact that im aware of . If i am wrong then plz correct me . Happy modding .
yes you can leave the chip turned on, then it will boot any media and unsigned code from the start. and you do not need to lock the hard drive (but make a backup of your eeprom.bin to be sure). but, if you leave the chip on and you do sign on at xbox live, then your box (eeprom) will get banned for live. if you don't care or don't have a live account, just keep the chip on (but make a backup of your eeprom.bin, you might need it in the future if your chip fails!!)
