Hi I have the above phone. I am trying to connect it to a Bluetooth speaker but it keeps asking for a Password. I have never had a password for it, I have tried using the PIN number but that doesn't work. It did locate the speaker device it just wouldn't let me connect to it without a password. I have connected it to another phone using Bluetooth before but it didn't ask for a password. Any ideas? Many thanks Caroline (Non-techno person, so please keep it simple)
the 'default' pin will be in the speakers documentation - they usually use either 0000 , 1111 or 1234 to keep things simple. does it allow you to just press enter without a pin? try these first and if no luck check the speakers instructions for a pin code. good luck.
the phone that doesn't ask for a pin will have a different bluetooth protocol / version not to worry about
