I have read each post and tried clonecd and alcohol. I don't want to beat a dead horse. Has anyone got settings for this burner to get this game to backup? I have the original cd here and depending on the settings sometimes I get the no cd error or just nothing happens. I was wondering if there is a way to make a copy without actually making it emulate? I will try and write it on mine and see if I can get it to work.
Use the latest BlindWrite 4.4.0b http://www.blindwrite.com/ Be sure that "autorun" is enabled (Windoze) Dump both images of Sim City 4 to your hd using "alternative read method" and "nibble" checked< read max. To burn, open BlindWrite and go to BlindWrite config and [bold] uncheck [/bold] enhance weak sectors>next>click start cd writing wizard. Click next and locate the [bold] BWT file [/bold] NOT BWI file and load (cd 1)>next. Choose DAO pw mode and write max. Do the same for cd 2 and then see if the backups will play in your dvd\cd-rom. If not, then use your Litey. Shoey
