I had a previous version of alcohol 120 (i forgot what version it was) and also had a virtual drive on it, and then i installed a newer version and now the virutal drive is still there and cannot get rid of, in the new version of alcohol 120 i also added 1 virtual drive BUT it added a new Letter..
Like, i have drives A,C,D,E,F,G and previous version of 120 i had the virtual which is H and now with the new version of 120, i added 1 virtual drive BUT it took I instead of H. so now how do i get rid of H? so it can be a open Letter again.

I tried going into system and then device management and uninstall the H but everytime i restart my pc it comes right back.

    Thanks in advance

check out the alcohol faq over @ their site.

I had a similar issue when I uninstalled daemon tools. You have to go into the device manager and remove a device from the list, but...I can't remember what list. I wanna say it's SCSI/Raid devices, but I'm not sure.

It's going to tell you to uninstall the new install first, so that you can take 'em both out.

    eep, nevermind. Found it:
    http://support.alcohol-soft.com/en/...2513&title=How+do+i+remove+the+virtual+drives

That should fix you right up. But...yea...go ahead and uninstall first so you don't accidentally break the new version too.
