i hope this is the right spot because i was sure where it should go. i installed the following progarm but only to remove it later. it left behide a virtual( or fake) cd drive. how do i get rid of this drive on the computer?
Supposedly this happens if you leave an image mounted on the virtual drive, then uninstall Alcohol. It may be easier to reinstall Alcohol, then uninstall it.
i'm following this step A:- Go to control panels/system/hardware/device manager, find under "SCSI and RAID controllers" the Alcohol* SCSI controller, and remove it. but there is no SCSI and RAID controllers found on my computer.
Go to the Alcohol Support/Forum site and check the information here. http://support.alcohol-soft.com/kno...tle=Method+for+removing+Alcohol+120%+manually
ok thanks for your help but that didn't work. however i decide to uninstall ultra iso and it removed the drive so it looks like the drive was a part of that program. on the bright side of things i learned how to manually remove Alcohol 120% and the cd drives that it leaves behide.
This is what i did when that happened the first time: Click Start-->Control Panel, The click Add or Remove Programs. You should be able to remove it from there.
