All by FTP?

    Question: Can software installation on the Xbox HD all be done by FTP and through the Xbox DVD-rom or must the HD be removed and hooked up to a desktop at some point. I got a laptop and need to know if I need to get a HD adaptor.

    Little problems like this suck.

    Yes it can all be done by the DVD drive and FTP you will never have to take out the HDD. Especially for all the basic things. You should never need to get a HD adapter.
