All in one VCR / DVD units

Does anyone have a list or information on the keystroke combinations that can be entered on the remote to unlock / turn off the copy protect chip in Emerson combo units? Thanks for any help.

 

It would help (a lot!) if we knew the model number.

Are you sure it has a copy protection chip? Are you thinking of Macrovision? Or region codes?

 

That would be MacroVision. Region codes are fine. I know some of the Emerson units have a key sequence you can hit on the remote to turn off the protect chip. I was hoping this one would be known by someone out there.

Google around, you might be able to see what your model really is - Emerson don't make stuff, they rebadge. That would be a big step towards finding the hack.
