after frying my mobo at the weekend i have now replaced the motherboard, see my other threat for details,

well it went pretty well, i had to re-activate windows, but didnt need to do repair or anything, XP booted up first time then i intalled the drivers that came with it, but there seems to be a problem with the drivers for the IDE controllers, xp trys to detect them a few times then decides that they are incorrect, i have tried to uninstall them then reboot but still get the same problem, if any1 has knows whats wrong or can suggest somewhere that i can obtain them from??

yes the repair seems to have worked ok, everything seems to be working as it should, most of my existing programs and files are still there, some programmes seem to be corrupted or half uninstalled so i may need a registry cleaner and advanced unsinstaller to clean everything up abit, seems a bit messy but im sure it will be fine, any thoughts on the reg cleaner?
