I have DVD Decrypter, Roxio MyDVD, and Roxio Creator LE. All i want to do is copy dvd's for my collection, and im sure one of these can do it for me. Can someone let me know exactly how i can do it and if there are any other programs i should download?

Hello, you better edit your post its not recomendable you post your email on forums, because it can be scanned and can be added to spam lists.

About the other issues, I reccomend nero instead of Roxio but that is your personal choice, you need DVD Shrink in order to compress the dvd so it can fit into a 4.7Gig DVD.

I reccomend you to browse the page before asking any questions because indeed there are several guides which help you find your answer

    Take a look: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/dvd9_to_dvdr_with_dvd_shrink.cfm

You can also take a look at the rules which in some cases prevent you from discussing several topics, after reading the guide and rules you still have a problem you can come back here.

If you are thinking about using Nero which is a far superior prog than Roxio then please NOTE
    [bold]DONT HAVE THEM BOTH INSTALLED< THEY CONFLICT[/bold]

DVD Decrypter isn't what it use to be. Due to circumstances beyond the writers control, it hasn't been updated in over a year and as such isn't capable of decrypting the newer protection schemes.

There are quite a few free decrypters out there however; the one I use; AnyDVD is very easy and is updated very often.

I also use DVD Shrink (when able) to compress the movie files down to the size of a single layer DVR-R/+R. When shrink is unable to perform that task, I used CloneDVD 2,

I to, used Roxio, both 7 and 8 to write my files to DVD until I came across CloneDVD 2. I now use that instead of Roxio.

On this page of mine you will find a few links that you might be able to use:
