Alright guys here is the deal i have been round and round with many people and sites about how to back up games. I have talked to more people and have been to more sites than i should considering for the tuts. it seems like an easy process. Alright like i explained in another post I have the following:

Xbox version 1.0 (Banned from live)

    Xecuter 3 chip

    LCD Screen

    Proswitch

    2 USB ports

UnleashX, XBMC, And the Cromwell off of the chip

From what I understand and correct me if i am wrong but I need to backup my games using a DVD-R or DVD-RW. Considering I have a Thompson drive and i don't know an CDRWs that can hold 2.5 GB iso file....but like i said i can be worng. Anyways my only DVD burner in the house is a MAC Powerbook 15'' superdrive. Now I have talked to people who are mac users like me who have successfully burned backups so i know it is possible. Anyways I have a program called Xdisk and it can create ISO directories which I know i will need to do. And I also have a program called Toast 6 titanium which will allow me to mount and burn ISO files to DVD's which I know i will also need to do. And finally I have UnleashX in which i have transfered the deafult.xbe file to it and patched it and sent it back to my mac via a FTP program I have. Anyways below is a setp by step of what i have done so as there is no confusion. Please HELP if u can and if not refferences to others who know how will me MUCH APPRECIATED!!

    1. Aquired programs mentioned above (Xdisk, Toast, FTP, UnleasX)

    2. Inserted disk into drive while booted to cromwell and logged onto my xbox and extract all the disks contents to my comp.

    3. Put all files and folders into a containing folder labled DFBHD (delta force black hawk down)

    4. Copied the deafult.xbe file found inside that folder to my E drive for quick storage.

    5. Booted to unleashX and patched the deafult.xbe file and then transfer a copy back to my mac....i know it was a copy because a deafult.xbe still remains there.

    6. I replaced the patched deafult.xbe with the one in the DFBHD folder and then created an ISO from that folder ising Xdisk

    7. I then opened up toast and clicked on image file amd then i selected the DFBHD.iso file and then presses mount then burned to a blank fugifilm DVD-R.

    8. Inserted the disk into drive only to find out it doesn't work!!!! I even tried launching the deafult.xbe file from unleashX with the disk in and it gave me a dirty disk error message!

PLEASE HELP ANY COMMENTS OR SUGGESTIONS OR REFFERENCES WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Get avalaunch on your xbox and use Qwix on your computer, its the easiest backup i've ever done. Quix's GUI is so simple it's amazing. Just find the game, and Quix will make an ISO file to put on your computer, then all u have to do is burn with dvd decryptor and your all set. I use windows so im not sure if there is Quix availiable on the mac.

Do disc copies play on your xbox? You mentioned that you had the cromwell bios and I don't believe that bios will allow you to play anything other than original game discs. If not you need to flash your Executer with a hacked bios.

no i have the latest bios for the xecuter 3294 build to be exact....got it off of xbins so i don't think that is the problem. I just use cromwell to reffer that I am booting to the chip because the original bios on there is cromwell. But for Qwix i'm afraid its not avaiable on macs. I am trying it using the same steps i told u earlier just to rule out everything i can....but i'm really not sure what the roblem is....wheter its with making the iso, making the patched deafult.xbe using, or ftping all the files, or using toast 6 to mount it as an image file, but from what i have told u eariler do u think there is a problem with my method of backing up???
