I got my phone to connect and stay connected... phew... good news.. bad news is now when i try and send any other data to my phone it says unable to communicate to the mobile phone... anyone got any ideas???? What i did to fix the problem was make sure that multimedia studio didnt load the picture transfer program first... any snap shots made by the phone that have dashes or ascii characters automatically fudges up the link and drops the connection. Hope this helps some ppl with their V551 problems connecting to MPT 3.19e1 on XP SP2
how did u get the multimedia studio to not load the picture transfer program first cause im damn out of ideas for my 551
make sure on the welcome screen you remove the check mark that says do not show this screen first... pretty simple... make sure that you are using the most uptodate version v. 3.19e1 and instead of loading up the picture transfer wizard it'll load up the welcome screen instead... I'm guessing you're at the same point as i am? If you get it to transfer anything other than contacts and the calendar please let me know... i havent been able to sync anything other than those two things
