Alternate xbox online gaming?

    Ok so i got a modded xbox but I would like to use an alternate online xbox gaming service (not xbox live). What do I do? I dont want use a computer to connect to the alternate gaming service I would like to go strait to my DSL modem with my xbox, if at all possible.

    I have googled this but cant make sence of all the info im getting so please dont post messages that says use google. THX

    the only other ways are xboxconnect and xlink

    Are there alot of people that use xboxconnect and xlink?

    I heard one could use xbmc to use an online gaming service...is this true?

    a lot.
    xlink is better runs smoother and u can join games more often.

    Yes you can use XBMC to play online but this is xlink Kai also. Instead of using the PC program all you do is configure xlink on your PC to open the engine only and the rest is done from your XBMC.

    So are u guys saying if i dont want to use a computer to connect my xbox to an online gaming service my olny option is to use xboxconnect?


    BTW: I do have Xbox Media Center installed on my Xbox

    NO, they are saying to use X-Link, because the program inside your XBMC is X-Link... So for you to not use a computer to connect your xbox to an online gaming service, you should use X-Link... Just configure xlink on your PC to open the engine only and the rest is done from your XBMC. For more detailed instructions follow the link that [bold]ozy[/bold] left...
