Nero 7 has been not working for my DVDs when burning them, whether it's just Data ones or making DVD movies, etc. I thought it might be a problem with my DVD Recorder but the problem doesn't occur when using DeepBurner so it seems to be related to Nero itself. I realise there's programs around that do similar things to Nero but what about ones that make DVD movies, etc.? Does anybody have any alternatives? I ask because I've wasted so many blank DVDs on Nero that I don't want to waste anymore on trying to see what the problem is.

Well I'm on a tight budget so I shop around for decent and cheap blank DVDs, basically I can't afford to but rewriteable DVDs in bulk or many of them that's why I don't, I actually only have one that I use for backing up things. Yeah I've heard Roxio's good, I don't know why there isn't a forum here for it, maybe because Nero products are more popular.

I check for bulk bargains and am currently using Sony blank DVDs so there quality has been alright. I have installed dvd flick and will test it, I think it's going to be good enough for what I'm looking for, does it support menus and such, I haven't tested it all that much?
