hey u guys out =there i have a softmodded xbox n i wanna go on live but it says strart trouble shooter n then i press it but it goes to a screen saying please call costermer service how can i go on live with my modded xbox cause i have talked to guy that is a modder n he has all the mods but how do i go on live like him oh n also if u have a site that i can download those fast running high jumping auto aim n al the other cool stuff can u please tell me the site thanks to ally the ppl that r gonna help me out.
Hey there. Go to your new dashboard and go to system configuration/system settings and turn static IP OFF. Then scroll the bottom and save it. Ok, now go to the Microsoft dashboard by pressing eject to boot up the xbox. SOFTMOD - EJECT = RETAIL. It should take you to the - "Xbox Live management screen" and go on Network Setup. Go to IP addresses and set it to automatic. Now go to DNS servers and set it to automatic. Now go to PPOE settings and turn it off. Then go to advanced and make sure all 3 boxes are empty. Now it will try to auto connect and if it says successful, you can now get back on live But I really do hope that you set the softmod to dual boot EJECT = RETAIL. So that when you start the xbox up by pressing the eject button it will take you to the xbox live management screen. If you cannot access your Microsoft dashboard "Xbox Live management" screen by pressing eject, then I will have to tell you how to uninstall your softmod and re-install it properly. Let me know how it goes. Oh and as for the mods.. we at Afterdawn do not condone cheating, I've seen it happen and I'm not impressed. I can't tell you how annoying it is when someone cheats on matchmaking and it puts my rank down. But anyway, using mods on Xbox Live will get you banned. Permanently. So just remember that before you look into cheating in further depth. -Mike
