am stuck and dont know what to do

I have downloaded DVD shrink...but it is now asking me what program to use it with and I am not sure as this is my first time with trying to burn anything. Can you please help?????

 

@scotmiss if you check out this link you will learn all you need to know http://www.dvdplusvideo.com select either Shrink with nero or Shrink with DVD Decrypter.

Shrink does not, burn, whatever it's done with your files, you need to tell it............does it burn whith Nero?.. DVDdecpter.........or what-ever ...http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/tutorial007.html

Hi again... I went to Scuba Pete's site... and it mentions making a folder to store on the HD?? Hard Drive?? how do I creat the place to leave it there? I have only downloaded shrink and before I can do anything with it I have to choose what program to open it with and am not sure about that...it says if not listed then click other...but then am stuck as to what I do next. thanks

The file pete is talking about is where your decrypted files will be sent. In your C drive create new file, then a new file inside that one etc. and name them as he said. Try downloading DVD Shrink from here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/ In "C" drive click on make new folder, name it and then double click and make new folder and name it.
If you cant follow Petes guide then check out the other one, what I do is print it out and its easy to follow.

You need to unzip the file using an appllication such as WinZip and then click on the DVD Shrink application icon.

here is a link to my server where you can get Shrink without needing any other program to open it .....

when the little box comes up ..... click on the save button ..... and save the file to your computer .... preferably on your desktop ..... Once you have done that you can follow either of the guides that you know about and be able to make some DVD Backups ..... If you have more problems come back and we'll see what we can do to help you......

Once it is on your desktop you double-click on the icon and it will install the program on your computer. I just wanted to make sure that you understood what to do with it once you have it on your machine.
