Hows does an AMD 3200+ or higher compare to an AMD X2 3800+? The GHz are similar but is there a major difference that aren't seen in the numbers?

the x2 is a dual core if i am right so than it can do 2 operations at once compared to a single core.

The X2 is a dual core which means is has the processing power of 2 single cores

basically if the 3200 is 2GHz thats all you get a single 2ghz processor.

if the 3800 X2 was 2GHz then your basically getting a total of 4GHz as this is like 2 2GHz processors
