AMD speed

    I have a AMD 2600+, which suppose to be at 1.92, but when i look under system it said 1.14ghz? how do i change that to the right speed?

    yep, I think i mess around with the bios and it messup. All i did was change to boot from cd.

    Check in the bios and make sure you did'nt change the multiplier.What make/model of motherboard do you have? Depending on your fsb the multiplier should be 11.5 for 166mhz or 15 for 133mhz.

    the best thing you could prbley do is reset ur cmos, by the pins or the removing the battery for a couple of minutes, the amount of times that has saved me lol.

    yep, my FSB was set at 100 and not at 166mhz.
