Here's my dilemma, and I apologize if I posted this in the wrong section. I've edited my evox.ini to have the menu the way I want it, but my problem is that I added a folder for my videos, but when I click on it from the main menu, the "movies" folder is empty.

As a matter of fact, I have to go to my files to get view them, They're not in my media center.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. I've searched and searched and still haven't found my answer. So I'm turning to you all for help.

    Thanks.

You'll want to set that up in XBMC, not EvoX!

Thanks for the reply chunkhead. Can you be a little more specific. The videos are on F:/movies. What do you mean when you say set them up in xbmc.

Hope I don't sound stupid, but I've tried searching to fix this problem with no luck

Make a shortcut from within XBMC

I promise you I'm not an idiot. I tried editing the evox.ini in many different ways with no luck. I'm assuming thats what you mean. If not, can you direct me on how to do this so I won't ruin my box. I've done it all by myself, but this one is stumping me.

When I go to my videos, I can click on F:\movies and I can get my movies thru there. SO I used "f:\movies" in the evox.ini and that didn't work. I edited it to say my "videos\f:\movies" and that didn't work.

    Below is my file:

Evox can't play videos, it doesn't matter if you edit the .ini file it still won't. It will only detect emulators, apps, and games. The dashboard only detects default.xbe files. XBMC is the app/dashboard you need if you want to play videos, music and everything else.

The source shortcut links are created within xbmc, as to where your videos are located on your hard drive.

I understand that, I'm not trying to play videos. What I'm trying to do is create a short cut on my main menus for my movies. This way when I click on movies it will take me to xbmc with out me having to go to "applications->xbmc->files>f:/->movies"

I had it set up like this on a previous modded xbox I owned, but cannot remember how to set it up.

That's exactly what I'm trying to do. I guess I've been wording it wrong, and obviously going about it alll wrong.

Would you mind sending me something showing how to set that up? That would be great. You say to edit the .xml files, but I would like something to look at while I do it so I don't mess up.

Thanks chunkhead, you're a great help bro!
