Mine is also from Cingular (USA) and my imei = 358804007504361
I have tried some of the unlocking programs to generate a code, but none seems to work. I am wondering if maybe the phone is "hard locked"?? How could I tell? I am trying to unlock it so I can use my current T-Mobile service. If I put the Cingular chip back in it, it still boots up normally.

    Model: Nokia (6102)
    IMEI: 358804007504361
    Network: 31017000

If it says "cannot undo restriction" when you type these codes then it means the mobile is hard-locked.

Still no luck... it continues to say the restriction is on, and to insert smartchip...

It does not say "Cannot undo restriction" however....
