Hi Jerry66 Here's some suggestions: Recorder: Version: 1.0b Update the firmware of the drive to the latest - 1.1A DiskPeripheral : SiI RAID 0 Set 0 si3112r Port 0 ID 0 DMA: Off CdRomPeripheral : SONY DVD RW DRU-510A nvatabus Port 1 ID 0 DMA: Off CdRomPeripheral : SONY DVD-ROM DDU1612 nvatabus Port 1 ID 1 DMA: Off DiskPeripheral : WDC WD2000JB-22GVA0 nvatabus Port 1 ID 2 DMA: Off Check and make sure all your drives are in DMA mode and not PIO mode. They may be but Nero doesn't report nvidia or raid correctly. Here's a guide to get you in the right direction - guide Disc Manufacturer: CMC MA - G. AF1 Not the best at all. Try different media like Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell. For this drive though I would look for media rated no higher than 8x. The firmware update was in 2004 so newer 16x media may be hit or miss with it.
