Hi 1st posting bear with me!
For the past few days my channels have been scrambling or lost completely.
I am having to re-scann every 20 mins or so and this is driving me mad.
After leaving the box unplugged overnight i tried a re-scann this evening and no channels were found on every supplier.
I have tried all suggestions on previous threads but to no avail.

The only thing I can think of is that the box needs to be upgraded as my supplier gave me the box with software already installed - he seems to be uncontactable at the moment.!

Therefore can anyone help with the latest/stable version of software that i can try

    Many thanks in advance.

Firstly , please edit your post and remove your email address
There is a little notepad icon to the right of your post [IMG] , click that to edit a message :)

    Secondly , I'll guess its a Starvi*w b0x

    Menu > Factory Setting
    PIN 0000
    OK to delete

Turn box off at the back for a minute and turn back on

    English > Installation
    Choose Provider etc
    Automatic Scan
    Press OK
    Channels found
    Exit

    Press Menu then 1570
    Turn EMU key ON

    Exit , exit , exit

Ok if you have Starvi*w 2 "THE B0X" then you have the most stable firmware installed .

Try do an auto scan on TW , N*L and ex C&W and see if you find any channels

Have you got any channels installed ?
What does it say on the front of the b0x and on your TV ?

Do as Cact mentioned , make sure your incoming cable is directly plugged into "Cable Input" socket at the back of the SV
