Ok, i'm using Nero, Windows media player, even itunes trying to back up a cd of music I have on my computer. I have tried to burn 3 of them, and they all fail. I have no idea why, but it started right after I got a 50 pack of Verbatim CD-R's. Here is the log, and can anyone help?

They may say verbatim on them, but you have CMC Mag discs.
Verbatim used those in DVDs at one time too. Worst media out there in my opinion. You can try to burn it slower at maybe 16x or less and that might help. For DVDs if you found made in japan on the spindle you will get the good stuff. For CDs, i think you can get Riteks in Maxell CDs, at least that is what i got on my last purchase of Maxell CDs. Maybe someone out there can tell you the best brand to pick up for CD blanks, as i deal more with DVDs.
According to what i have read on that drive, its a piece of junk. I was looking for a firmware update for you when i found this thread:
    http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/279491
You could update your nero to 6.6.0.18, but that probably wont help with your burning problem.
    Package 1
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/Nero-6.6.0.18_no_yt.exe

    Package 2
    http://httpdl1.usw.nero.com/NVE-3.1.0.21_no_yt.exe

My suggestion is for you to try burning those CMCs at a slower speed, or just get some other discs and see if that helps.
I didnt see anything else wrong in that log.

Today I tried burning it at a slower speed, and it still failed. It usually fails like maybe 30 seconds before its done. Usually the last song on the cd is only have finished. I put it in my cd player, and it plays all the songs but the last one. The last song on the cd stops after about a minute, then there is just silence. It like cuts off the song. I figure its probably the cds. Hopefully I didnt waste my money on all of em. Maybe some will be good. Thats BS. I thought if it just said verbatim on the label they would be ok. I guess I was wrong.

Also, I have Verbatim Lightscribe DVD+R's, and recently I tried burning something and it said that it was an illegal disk. What can I do to fix that?

Those verbatim lightscribes are the only lightscribe media i would use. I suspect your burner more than the media from what i have read. I used to have an LG burner that did lightscribe, and the Verb LS came out fine everytime. The HP LS media was junk.
As far as the last song not working, you were not going to the end of the disc, so it should have burnt the last song just as well as the others.
I would suspect the media since it is CMC. Yes, it sux that a name like verbatim would use CMC as a supplier, but they did that long ago with verbatim datalife + media. I have one left that survived but all the other Verbatim/CMCs died and not from scratches.
Burners prices have been coming down in the past few years and you can get some good ones for 100 bucks or less. Lite-on, Benq, and Plextor are the ones i like. Sony and Pioneer are also good. Sony uses lite-ons in some of its models.
Try different media and see if it helps. I got a 100 pack of Verbatim labeled CDs and they were not verbatim manufacture. I think if you find Made in Japan on the label, you will get a japanese manufacture, and they tend to have better quality than the Taiwanese manufactured discs.

I think I already know the answer to this question is NO, but can I possibly return the verbatim cds I already bought. I used about 10 of em. Stupid question. Its no right?

You could try. Nothing to loose, and maybe they will give you some of your money back, if not all, as long as you can still find the receipt.
