Hi Guys, I've been battling with my xbox now for a few days and reading all i can to helpfully find the answers i need, but no luck. basically i can ftp into the box and sometimes move files across, but then sometimes not... it's a little odd. i also don't seem to able to delete some files, even the ones i put there myself, i can't update the permissions of the folders or files. any ideas any one? primarily i am using a mac, but i have tried with pc as well, i have tired using on mac 'cyberduck, filezilla, and transmits', and on pc cuteftp and filezila. the box has been set using static and dynamic settings, and it's currently running through a router, but i have tired taking it out and plug in in directly with a cross over cable as well. it's odd because sometimes it will work ok, but when trying to send files the only errors i get 'can not create file or folder' any one with any ideas, any more informaion required? i have an xbox crystal with a 1.5 board, and xecuter2 dashboard. i have tried to ftp in the dashbaord and XBMC Thanks in advance, M@
If your saying you cant FTP, try going to (my computer) on the desktop. Then type in the address bar ftp://xbox.xbox@192.168. something something (your xbox IP address). Then you can use the folders from xbox. Also im not sure if that would work for a mac. Try it and see.
