hi every1 you ppl here at the forums have helped me time and time again but i find myself in a position where i cant find the answer to my problem in other ppls questions so i beg for and thank any help i get . my prob is as follows i have a modded xbox with xecuter2.6 and i want to install a dashboard on it so i can ftp files to it. My setup is as follows i have a USR 8003 router and a normal cat 5 cable connected to the xbox i can play on xlink kai and xbc, My pc settings are ip:192.168.123.105 subnet mask:255.255.255.0 gatewaty:192.168.123.254 xbox ip:192.168.123.102 subnet mask:255.255.255.0 gateway:192.168.123.105 i got this far from reading your forums but when i use flashfxp i always get this message [R] Connecting to 192.168.123.102 -> IP=192.168.123.102 PORT=21 [R] Connection failed (Connection timed out) and if i do a ping to my xbox ip it is aswell always timed out can anyone help me please im desperate =\
here this will fix it get a 2nd network card take it off the router make that cards ip 192.168.123.101 use a cross over cable from the xbox to the pc and connect with flash fxp to ip xbox login xbox pass if no evo-x then just make the ip on the evo-x disc 192.168.123.102 and boot with evo-x need more help hit me up [EMAIL ADDY REMOVED]
