Hey, Im having quite a problem with my hardrive.. What has happened is bbasically i have upgraded my computer and ported over my hardrive. My hardrive is set to master as there is only one. Well..... I can see all my files in Windows inside the harddrive if i access it. However when i say go Start > All Programmes none of my programmes are there even though i can run them if i go: My Computer > Drive C > Programme Files So what should i do. Could it be that i have a different version of windows installed i think ive gone from professional to home. Could that be it any suggestions. Cheers
Yes,that could be the reason,pro and home are 2 different operating systems.If you have another harddrive you could load one of the o.s. onto and then put the drive you have in now as slave and copy over the programs.
