Another HDD Question

I know that ive been all over this forum and i hope that it isnt pissing you guys off. i was wondering if you can take and old HDD from like a computer and run it through XBHDM 1.9 and if it would format it so you can run it in your xbox.

If it does, just run XboxHDM like the tutorial says, and ur good to go!
