the only thing I see different is:
the DMA is off on your 2 CD/DVD-ROMs..... try turning on the DMA for these drives:
    http://my.afterdawn.com/alkohol/blog_entry.cfm/231/dmaissues

also check your disk and see if it has scratches and/or smudges/fingerprints that would stop it from reading the disk you are trying to copy! And if you're trying to copy directly from a DVD to a blank DVD it's called an Illegal Disc and you need something to break the encoding like AnyDVD running in the background! Nero won't do this by itself.

    Hi
i've tried to burn my data that i backed up as an image file (i have it both in .nrg and .iso but none work) to a blank dvd. All blank dvd that i've tried are new.

im now away during weekend, i'll try all ur suggestion next monday and will get back how it is.
hopefully i can get it work this time :(
if there is any more suggestion that i should try i will.
    thanks

why are you backing up your data to an image when you can just add your files and burn your disk..... like this:
