I am a new member of the forums, so forgive me if this question has been covered. I purchased a new compusa dual layer burner and an using nero 7 with DVD Decrypter to ripp DVD's. For some reason I get errors burning layer two and have wasted about 15 discs trying to figure out how to do this so I can make back-up copies of my movies and music video's. Below is the log file from my last burn. Does anyone have any idea of what I am doing wrong? This is much harder than single layer DVD burns. Is ther a chance this is a media problem? I am using Memorex DVD+R DL discs. I cannot see a great deal wrong with your log except for this These are horrible disca and are not recommended, most burn failures are caused by these discs. I would recommend you try good quality discs such as Verbatim, Taiyo Yuden or Sony that are made in japan.

Thanks again! That solved the problem for me as soon as I purchased some verbatim discs. What a mess that was wasting $69.00 on crappy discs that didn't work.
