It sounds like you have your video settings set to show a 2nd desktop as opposed to cloning your primary desktop. If that's the case, you can drag your programs from your primary display over to the 2nd display. Of course, the better solution is to simply set your display to clone.

using your TV as a second monitor, or in clone mode, you can still watch your shows. You just have to set the setting to show overlay on the 2nd monitor. and/or drag your player window into the second monitor.

I noticed the date of your first post, do you have it figured out yet? or do you still need help?

Most applications include copy protection features that prevent you from watching videos on 2 screens. The easiest solution is to set your 2nd display as the primary display so you can watch videos on your TV instead of your monitor.

there is a way to turn off the 2nd monitor and have both screens the same. they way you have it now i bet if you where to move you mouse over far enough you would be able to see it on the tv. right ckick the desktop and go to properties and then settings, you should be able to find the toggle there

    You're almost there Snapp.
Hi had this problem but can't quite remember the exactr solution.
I'm sure it was a setting in the video software player options.
Was it something to do with Overlay setting or was it the "Also show video in full screen on my 2nd dislay" tick box.
Have a play with those either in the player settings or the properties of Nvidia control panel (or ATI catalyst)

While I haven't tried it, you may be able to use the following adapter (link here).
