yea, and that is what I was thinking, how will they have a real live tivo in there (or equivalent) if all it is is off the shelf parts, I think it'll just have a PVR, like my all-in-wonder card. I guess it could be a good deal, but i don't need one as I do have the high dollar gaming rig.
I would never get one cause I have a pc that can play all the games plus I would just get a ps3 for that price. For 700 bucks it's got descent hardware. One must remember this company doesn't have nearly the funds of a giant like sony or ms so They can't take such a loss on every system they sell.
This still doesn't constitute as a ps3 clone though. The gamepad may look similar, but it's not like the playstation controller was built from scratch. This console seems like it's trying to pry itself into an inbetween market between console and PC gaming, and if It succeeds, than I don't really see a problem. ALthough, If I had 700 dollars to spend at my will, I'd much rather go for a ps3. I wish this console luck, though. And despite my hope that Sega will roll out with another console, all I can hope for is another contenter in an increasingly stale-to-me console war.

yes. the x1600 is a low end card, even the x800 beats it. the 3200 is not a wonderful processor. i've said this all alogn the specs are not worth it at all. plus the controller is ugly and looks kinda 3rd party to me..like not an official one at all. and the case is too clunky and large, and the shape doesnt make it fit well anywhere.
this evo console/pc looks like a rip off, they are just trying to make money with all the buzz. its like the Phantom gaming console from Infinium Labs. I don't know if it was shown at E3 or not, but it looks to me like all show and no trousers
the controller is exactly the same it haz 4 buttons on the right 2 in the middle 4 directional 2 analogs dont think its gonna be a good system also its coming out on octobet 20th at $679.99us so its more expensive then the ps3, come out about the same time, only plays pc games, has the 1st gen controller wow its gonabe a sucess heres their site: http://www.envizionsinc.com/press_releases.htm they even have a myspace! links on the page
