Crossover cable was loose on above thread. Made sure it was plugged in firmly, now getting message:

    [11:29:49] Connecting to 192.168.0.4 Port: 21
[11:29:50] No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.

Did you set your user and pass to xbox in your FTP program?

Go to Chunkheads tutorials in Xbox hardware. He knows everything so your wasting your time asking randoms.

Think I got it. I had the ip for the xbox and pc the same. changed the pc and got connected. backed up a few games now.
a couple seem to freeze and a message appears on the xbox "problem with disc, can not be read". I'm sure it could be either the quality of the disc I'm backing up or my burner being pretty old. I set the burner to either 2x or 4x and I always use Taiyo Yuden discs. happens when I burn with nero and decrypter. any suggestions?

Possibly burner.. more likely- xbox laser..more likely still- dvd+ disks.. most likely- not making the xiso properly.

Use cloneXB (google.. it's easy to find.. hint xbox360-tribe)
