I am trying to back up Schindlers List side B. I got side A just fine on one disc. I am now getting "cyclic redundancy error" while running Clone DVD with any DVD in the background. Any help would be great.
Try cleaning the disk it sounds as if it is scratched, smudged or has some kind of imperfection. If that does not work then return it and get another original.
@demello I also had a problem with this side of the disc. I think I was using shrink. I used decrypter and was able to rip then run thru shrink (bad press I think). Here's a guide for those hard ones it may help: http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide9.html
The disk is clean. It is just getting old and scratched. It still plays fine, but nothing can rip that one side. Owell can't win them all.
That will do it, you can try another program, such as DVD FabDecrypter it may get through the disk to rip it where Clone cannot.
