I'm not sure what the problem is, Audio OR Visual.
I'm using XP Media Center ....
Up until recently, i only had this problem on one Burnt DVD that i made. Now its on some Commercial-quality DVDs as well.
I downloaded and installed K-Lite Mega Codec Pack v3.7.5.

    But still having the problem.
I normally used Intervideo WinDVD, but in this case i also tried RealPlayer and InterActual Player. Same problem.
I downloaded new drivers for my video card and no fix.
So what are my options? Should i just say screw it and go get a new Internal DVD-burner ?

    More info.
I switched out the DVD burner(DVDB) with an old-PC's DVD-Rom.
The DVDB would play DVDs and Audio, although both had the choppy effect. It would play Data CDs(Games) with no problem.
With the DVD-Rom, it will play Audio with no problem. And Games with no problems.
I tried 5 Commercial-quality DVDs, and only one would play (with no choppy) the other 4 were not recognized at all. (IE:Double clicking on the E drive resulted in "No Disc found in drive!")
