basically im looking for free video editing software that allows me to place the video i have captured on an arbitrary position on the timeline/video track (as in something that wont pull the video clip to the last clip or beggining of the timeline.) i suppose if anyone knows of a free program that has two or more video tracks, arbitrary placement would be a given, but i cant seem to find any that just let me at least have arbitrary placement, period. i make music videos, and its almost impossible to make them with the simpleton free programs ive come up with in searchign so far, and their annoying way they pull clips togethor. help much apreciated, thx if all else fails and theres no free software, maybe a suggestion on a low price editor that can do this, even if thats about all it can do more than a typical free editor?
