hello, i have a u3 dvb-t usb stick which is made to let me watch tv and hd channels on laptops and computers which have a usb slot. as far as i know it can only pickup freeview and freeview has no hd channels. so why does this thing have hd 1080i support? if it pickups up freeview which doesn't even have hd channels. i'd like to see what hd is like and i have the hardware but where do i get the signal for hd? i know freesat has hd but that needs a satellite dish and i dont have one.

hi, freeview have no plans to transmit hd in the near future. they might test in 09 but this depens on how smooth the switch over is. currently hd is only on $ky with bbc hd, sky movie 1&2, and a couple more. freesat have bbc hd and itv hd and 1 more in non freesat mode. itv hd is a red button service not a channel. itv hd will not be on sky. this is due to the fact that freesat is bbc & itv run and the spit going on between sky & branson

thats a little confusing because i'm new in this field. but i think i get the idea. my tv stick supports hd so is there no way i can watch hd channels? there must be a way, otherwise there'd be no point of a hd usb stick. i should probably ask the company.
