http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide10.html This site was very informative and was wondering if there are any more sites out there with similare info.
AndreL My preference is aD but I will search at: http://club.cdfreaks.com/ http://forum.digital-digest.com/index.php http://www.videohelp.com/
I'm looking at my post and I didn't leave an example ... any more sites like this one that give you tips on dvd burning http://www.dvdplusvideo.com/petesguide10.html
Here's another good one for you: http://home.comcast.net/~bbmayo/ ad also has guides under the 'guides' tab.
Hi AndreL, I'm glad you liked that site. It does have some tid-bits of general help there BUT if you need some help on a specific problem, a place like this is a great resourse. All you need do is to state, asclearly as possible what you're trying to do and what yoiu have to work with and then allow pple to brain-storm that specific problem. aD is one of the best places for this BUT as you see, there are many other places that do the same things. Another forum that has just begun is: http://BurningBits.com, where you'll also find some nice information on working with DVD's. I hope this is of some help, Cheers, Pete
I don't specificly have a problem ... I about to buy some DVD ripping software and I'm trying to do some research on it so I won't run in to problems. And my "analysis" he he he ... has brought me to the concusion to get AnyDVD, (and I may or may not get the combo casue I saw on your site "SubaPete" that you are ripping dvds just fine with out it.) DVD Decryptor and ShrinkIt cause I'll have a main ripper and if that one doesn't work then I'll have a backup ripper. And you "SubaPete" had me thinking on a problem that I would be facing when puchaseing a ripper. When unable to rip a dvd that it may not be just the DVD rippin software but, the problem could be that the DVD was press with a defect. "So hunt around until you find a good one." Is a good DVD ripping moto.
