Just google it man. Theres a ton of sites that have step-by-step guides that tell you exactly what to do.
i think u guys understood me wrong. ok this is wats up i cant find any good softmods or u could call them (linux installer) that i can install to my xbox using MA (mechassault). so if u know any good softmodds for xbox or any good sites to download them from please tell me. thank you.
get mirc... its free. follow the directions on http://www.how2xbox.com/xbins.htm, this will show you how to use xbins... from there you will use mIRC to get the necesary name and password to FTP into the FTP server that they host thier cool stuff on. usually that site i just gave you shows you how to do everything. just back up to the root homepage and read it like 20,000 times before you attempt if you are dumb and curious like me. i just got mines modded and its worth the trouble and RISK....
Get the files from xbins or from moddings. He has the Krazyie Mech installer that i used. Its simple, and it lets u unistall whenever you want so you can get back onto xbox live. it also comes with nkpatcher (do a search for what that does... hard to explain here) Oh, and dont use evox... it stinks. use unleashX as a dash.
