i just realised somthing ive got a sony dvd rw+ and ime using dvd decripter and nero 5.5 99now i got dvd shrink and in most tutorials ive read it dosent say it suports rw+ brands cas i keep following tutorial and it keeps going wrong so can u use dvd rw+ or dvd r+ my firm ware is 131
Whether you burn to -r/-rw/+r/+rw, it does not really matter. If you use dvd2one OR dvdshrink - these programs ONLY produce a valid dvd structured file, ie if burned it will be a compatible dvd (standalone dependent of course). When you burn, there are sometimes different options to choose from, these options change the format slightly BUT should make no difference to whether it is on a r/rw. As long as you find a method that works for YOU yoou should not encounter problems between r's and rw's. As far as burning programs go, nero can be very fussy, I use recordnowmax v4.5 and have not encountered ANY problems between r/rw formats.
